Descripción
Sumario:Adorno’s thought is redemptive in nature. Adorno combines Benjamin’s view of religious redemption and Marx’s view of technical salvation, and sees art as an important way of human salvation. Adorno considers history as a dialectical movement of barbarism and civilization, and historical suffering can be recalled and imitated through art. The redemption of thought requires the reconciliation of subject and object, and in the language of art, the subject and object achieve true reconciliation.
