As major proponents of the Pentecost and pneumatological approaches, the methodologies of Wolfgang Vondey and Amos Yong are engaged with the hope of constructing a methodological synthesis that is at once Spirit-driven and directed towards participation so that a wider range of Pentecostal and pneumatological resources can be utilized to imagine ways that people’s greater participation in community could be made possible. The methodological synthesis proposed in this article demonstrates how bringing together the two approaches leads to greater participation in Pentecost, which reflects the Pentecostal idea of the prophethood of all believers. | ||
