The creation of the official school became an instrument of literacy and colonial domination, imposing the Portuguese culture and language, aiming at the denial of the Mozambican cultures and religions. We aim to analyze the influence of Portuguese ethnocentrism confronted with the ancestral culture of Mozambique. The results show it is essential to develop an education capable of understanding the multiple dimensions and the complexity of the Mozambican culture. , Estudio cualitativo y descriptivo de la influencia del etnocentrismo portugués en Mozambique, que comenzó en el siglo XV con la colonización, imponiendo la cultura portuguesa en detrimento de la cultura ancestral mozambiqueña, inferiorizando al pueblo y a la cultura nativa, considerándolos incultos, paganos. La creación de la escuela oficial se convirtió en un instrumento de alfabetización y dominación colonial, imponiendo la cultura y la lengua portuguesas, pretendiendo la negación de las culturas y religiosidades mozambiqueñas. Objetivo: Analizar la influencia del etnocentrismo portugués frente a la cultura ancestral de Mozambique. Resultado: Es esencial desarrollar una educación capaz de comprender las múltiples dimensiones, la complejidad de la cultura mozambiqueña. , Estudo qualitativo, descritivo da influência do etnocentrismo português em Moçambique, iniciado no século XV com a colonização, que impôs a cultura portuguesa em detrimento da cultura ancestral Moçambicana inferiorizando os povos e cultura nativa, considerando-lhes incultos, pagãos. A criação da escola oficial se converteu em um instrumento de alfabetização e dominação colonial, impondo a cultura e a língua portuguesa, objetivando a negação das culturas e religiosidades moçambicanas. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a influência do etnocentrismo português confrontado com a cultura ancestral de Moçambique. Os resultados mostraram que é imprescindível desenvolver uma educação capaz de compreender as múltiplas dimensões e a complexidade da cultura Moçambicana. | ||
