| Summary: | The scientific study in religion is basically an effort towards the object of religion, which has features and characteristics observable both in the phenomenal field of the subjects' experience and in the field of cultural representations and symbols. Similarly, psychology has its main objective of analyzing directed to the so-called psychological or behavioral processes. When thinking about the countless possibilities of interaction between the objects of both sciences, it was possible to observe a series of conflicts and tensions somewhat implicit that have separated these areas. Thus, the objective of this theoretical work is to propose the opening of an interdisciplinary dialogue where the main conceptual possibilities of integration between the areas will be highlighted. Throughout the exhibition, the main concepts that touch both the religious object and that of psychology will be elaborated. |
