Descripción
Sumario:The attitudes and values that shape people’s concept of nature come basically from the religious views and ethical practices. Religions have not only determined the way we perceive the world but also set roles that individuals play in nature. Every religious tradition, while upholding the supremacy of human being, has condemned the needless exploitation of living as well as non-living beings. There has to be a comprehensive reevaluation of the human-earth relationship for human beings to continue as a viable species on this increasingly degraded planet.
