| Resumo: | This paper presents the main contribution of a twentieth century French philosopher who belongs to the current generally known as personalism. In addition to the topic covered here, he was also known for another viewpoint that is relevant for this group, namely, his defense of what is known as "Christian Philosophy". His brief work, Is There a Christian Philosophy? explains the meaning of that term, and supports its legitimacy. I shall not, however, go into that here. |
