In diesem Beitrag möchte ich aus einer umweltpsychologischen Perspektive heraus Transformationspfade aufzeigen, die dazu beitragen könnten, eine sozial-ökologische Gesellschaft zu erreichen. Der erste Teil des Beitrags befasst sich mit dem systemischen Charakter von Transformation und wie sich psychologische Ansätze in ein umfassendes Modell des gesellschaftlichen Wandels einbinden lassen können. Im zweiten Teil konzentriere ich mich auf einen auf der Theorie der sozialen Identität basierenden Ansatz für umweltfreundliches Handeln und zeige, dass kollektives Denken und Handeln starke Treiber einer Transformation sein können. Im dritten Abschnitt gehe ich auf eine spezifische soziale Identität - eine globale Identität - ein, um diese Prozesse zu veranschaulichen. Schließlich zeige ich auf, wie eine systemisch-kollektive Perspektive nützlich sein kann, um Veränderungen zu kommunizieren und politische Maßnahmen zu entwickeln, die sowohl wirksam sind als auch in der Öffentlichkeit Akzeptanz finden. | ||
| 520 | |a Climate change and other environmental crises are collective challenges for all of humanity. This paper presents transformation paths from an environmental and psychological perspective that could contribute to achieving a socio-ecological society. The first part deals with the systemic character of transformation and how to integrate psychological approaches into a comprehensive model of social change. The second section focuses on a social identity theory-based approach to proenvironmental action. It shows that collective thinking and action can be powerful drivers of transformation. The third section addresses a specific social identity - a global identity - to illustrate these processes. In conclusion, I show how a systemic-collective perspective can be useful in communicating change and developing policies that are both effective and acceptable to the public. | ||
