The transformative potential of Islamic feminism reaches from a renewed sense of agency for Bosniak Muslim women to the questioning of exclusionary ethnonationalist discourses and the possibility to empower victims of rape and violence in their healing process. At a deeper level, Islamic feminism may contribute to solve the fundamental paradox of the Bosniak nation attempting to defend the multiethnic essence of Bosnia. | ||
