AB Im Mittelpunkt des Beitrags stehen ausgewählte Ergebnisse einer quantitativ angelegten Relevanzstudie zum evangelischen Religionsunterricht in Rheinland-Pfalz an Grundschulen, Realschulen plus und Gymnasien. Die ausgewählten Perspektiven der Schüler*innen zu ihrer Besuchsmotivation, zu ihren Erfahrungen mit dem Fach und zu ihrer Einschätzung des Faches zeigen Differenzierungen zwischen der sozialen und der inhaltlichen Ebene sowie starke Zusammenhänge mit Alter und Gottesglauben. Mit Hilfe der Regressions- und Mehrebenenanalysen können außerdem die hierarchische Struktur der Daten genauer beschrieben und die zentralen Prädiktoren für die Varianzaufklärung herausgestellt werden.
AB The article focuses on selected results of a quantitatively designed relevance study on Protestant religious education in Rhineland-Palatinate at primary schools, Realschulen plus and grammar schools. The selected perspectives of the students on their motivation to attend, on their experience of the subject and on their assessment of the subject show differentiations between the social level and the content level, as well as strong correlations with age and belief in God. With the help of the regression and multilevel analyses, the hierarchical structure of the data can be described more precisely and the central predictors for the variance explanation can be highlighted.
