Description
Summary:This research takes as a background the theology underlying the three letters traditionally assigned to the evangelist John, and especially, the 1st Letter of John. Considers that the problems inherent to those communities can provide insights for overcoming religious fundamentalism, caused by among other things due to literalist, univocal and biased doctrinal interpretations of the Bible and are manifested in the growing hatred and fear of diverse identities of gender, race, ethnicity, nation, ideologies, among others. Based on the elucidation of the doctrinal problems of this community, it proposes pedagogical routes that illuminate and promote an attitudinal change of Christians of yesterday and today who claim the right to speak of Jesus from hatred and not from the dynamics of inclusive love that the letters offer us through dialogical mediation
