L'évolution des usages et des politiques publiques, les débats entre spécialistes et les découvertes en neurobiologie, permettent de brosser une introduction de l'histoire des concepts et d'en montrer les enjeux éthiques et sociaux, avec l'élaboration d'une nouvelle éducation thérapeutique basée sur la restauration de l'estime de soi et la reconquête du plaisir de vivre. | ||
| 520 | |a This article offers a general introduction to addictology as a new anthropological concept of psychoactive substance use behaviour considered from medical, psychological, and social perspectives. To this should be added certain behaviours included in addictology in the categories of “product-free” or “behavioural” addictions. The evolution of uses and public policies, debates among specialists, and new discoveries in neurobiology allow us to sketch an introduction of the history of the relevant concepts and to reveal the ethical and social stakes together with the elaboration of a new approach to therapeutic education based on the restoration of self-esteem and the recovery of the joy of life. | ||
