AB This book is a collection of essays dating from 1971 to 2003, which have been published previously in Festschriften and journals. All of these were originally published in German, except for one which appeared in French and one which appeared in English. A further two essays are printed for the first time in this volume. They reflect Luz's thought as he prepared his massive commentary and highlight some of his priorities in his study of Matthew.
