The terms 'Spirit' and 'Spirits of the Lord' are used in various combinations, for instance 'in the Spirit' ('en pneumati'), 'the Spirit of prophecy' and 'the Seven Spirits'. Various hermeneutical perspectives exist with regard to the concept 'en pneumati'. The 'Spirit of prophecy' suggests that it is the Spirit that provided the truth which Jesus revealed. 'Seven spirits' is a reference to the fulness of the one Spirit of God. | ||
