| Summary: | This study sets out to describe the logic of witness at work throughout John's Gospel. In the circle of witness, where every witness bears witness to another witness, the truth through this circle so bears witness to itself that it is the ἀλήθεια itself that comes forward, in the first person singular, and is fulfilled in the presence of the one called πνεῦμα. Cette étude s’applique à décrire la logique du témoignage partout à l’œuvre dans l’évangile de Jean. Dans le cercle du témoignage, où tout témoin témoigne pour un autre témoin, la vérité témoignant ainsi, à travers ce cercle, pour elle-même, c’est l’ἀλήθεια elle-même qui s’avance, à la première personne du singulier, et s’accomplit dans la présence qui s’appelle πνεῦμα. |
