| Summary: | This study is given to the positions on magic of two protagonists of 16th-century Italian philosophy, namely Francesco Storella (1529-1575), professor of logic at Naples and Salerno and master of Giordano Bruno (1548-1600), and Giambattista Della Porta (1535-1615), among the period’s most famous natural magicians. The purpose is to show the textual and conceptual ties between these two authors’ positions, put forward in Naples during the same period. In particular, the study examines Storella's image of "Aristotle the magician" and the role of his commentary on the Secretum secretorum in the process of recovering doctrines on the natural occult of Albert the Great in the natural magic of Della Porta Cette étude est consacrée aux propositions sur la magie de deux protagonistes du débat philosophique italien du xvie siècle, à savoir François Storella (1529-1575), professeur de logique à Naples et à Salerne et maître de Giordano Bruno (1548-1600) ansi que Jean-Baptiste Della Porta (1535-1615), l’un des plus célèbres magiciens naturels de l’époque. Le but est de montrer les liens textuels et conceptuels entre les propositions de ces deux auteurs, formulées à Naples au cours de la même période. En particulier, l’étude examine l’image d’« Aristote magicien » proposée par Storella et le rôle de son commentaire du Secretum secretorum dans le processus de récupération des doctrines sur l’occulte naturel d’Albert le Grand dans la magie naturelle de Della Porta. |
