The latter teach us that a philosophy of the spirit has absoluty nothing to do with a dogmatic dualism. There is of course a dualist moment in thought : the moment of the division between an inspiration and an expiration, between an embodiment of spirit and a spiritualization of nature. But this dualism only lasts long enough to be passed over, especially in its form of the relationship between conscience and its body; for spirit exists only within a dialectic of embodiment and distanciation. | ||
| 520 | |a RésuméTrop négligé aujourd’hui, le concept d’esprit doit être approfondi dans l’idéalisme allemand (Schelling, Hegel, etc.) et dans les divers spiritualismes (Lavelle, Gabriel Marcel...). Ceux-ci nous apprennent qu’une philosophie de l’esprit n’est pas du tout équivalente à un dualisme dogmatique. Certes, il y a un moment dualiste de la pensée, celui de la division entre une inspiration et une expiration, entre une incarnation de l’esprit et une spiritualisation de la nature. Mais ce dualisme, en particulier sous la forme du rapport entre la conscience et son corps, n’est posé que pour être dépassé, car l’esprit n’existe que dans une dialectique d’incarnation et de distanciation. | ||
