Ravaisson, a meticulous reader of Pascal, understood the extent to which, for latter, intelligence is condemned to emptiness as soon as it ceases to be motivated by the of "stront-willed heart" in which charity is rooted. The precise opposite of this deathlike emptiness is the full heart of the true Christian. | ||
