Cette étude l'élaboration de ce concept dans le système d'an-Nasafī et d'as-Siǧistānī et l'interprète comme une tentative d'échapper à l'émanatisme néo-platonicien, incompatible avec le créationnisme de l'Islam. Les difficultés découlant d'une métaphysique qui introduit entre le super-être et l'être un niveau d'être à l'impératif, ont amené al-Kirmānī à rejeter cette solution et à accentuer l'altérité et l'inaccessibilité de Dieu. La source de cette doctrine Verbe est la Longue Recension de la Théologie d'Aristote, c.-à-d. une version interpolée la paraphrase arabe des Ennéades de Plotin. Selon la Longue Recension, qui fut également employée par certains néo-platoniciens juifs, le Verbe est l'intermédiaire entre Dieu et l'Intellect et, étant uni à l'Intellect, il est en même temps la forme qui lui confère l'émanation. Cette dernière opinion est due à une certaine lecture de Plolin qui tend à reconnaître une structure hylemorphique dans le Nous. The presence of the Word, or Imperative, as an intermediary between a transcendent and the Intellect is a characteristic element in Ishmaelian philosophy. This study analyses the elaboration ofthat concept in the system of an-Nasafī and as-Siǧistānī, and interprets as an attempt to escape from neo-Platonic emanatism, which is incompatible with the creationism of Islam. The difficulties arising from a metaphysics which introduces a of existence for the Imperative between the super-Being and the being have led al-Kirmānī to reject this solution and to stress the otherness and inaccessibility of God. The source of doctrine of the Word is the Long Recension in Aristotle's Theology, that is to say, an interpolated version of the paraphrase in Arabic of the Enneads by Plotinus. According the Long Recension, which was also used by certain Jewish neo-Platonists, the Word is the intermediary between God and the Intellect and, being united with the Intellect, it is at the same time the form which emanation gives to it. This last opinion is founded upon a particular interpretation of Plotinus's work, which tends to recognise a hylomorphic structure of the Nous. | ||
