L'A. tente d'abord de repérer leur place et leur rôle dans la crise actuelle du marxisme, étudié selon sa visée scientifique, principalement par rapport aux travaux de Louis Althusser, puis selon sa visée révolutionnaire, avec C. Castoriadis et J. Baudrillard. Il montre ensuite que les « nouveaux philosophes » achèvent de ruiner le « mythe » du structuralisme, tout en invitant à regarder d'un œil neuf l'apport de Michel Foucault qui reste pour eux un éducateur incontesté, et celui de Jacques Lacan dont les travaux sur l'ordre symbolique, le désir, la loi, demeurent à leurs yeux fondamentaux et invincibles. Regarding some young French authors designated "New Philosophers": Jean-Marie Benoist, Jean-Paul Dollé, André Glucksmann, Christian Jambet, Guy Lardreau. The article firstly attempts to locate their place and their role in the current crisis in Marxism, studied in terms of its scientific aim, principally in connection with the work of Louis Althusser, then in terms of its revolutionary aim, with C. Castoriadis and J. Baudriltard. It next shows that the "New Philosophers" succeed in destroying the myth of Structuralism, while inviting a new look at the contribution of Michel Foucault who remhins for them an undisputed educator, and that of Jacques Lacan whose work on the nature of symbol, desire, law, remains in their eyes fundamental and invincible. | ||
