Thomas a compris celle-ci. Comme ' congregatio fldelium ', elle rassemble ceux que les vertus théologales établissent en communion intime avec Dieu et se trouve donc en continuité avec rassemblée céleste des élus. Comme faite d'hommes ' in statu viae ', l'Église est une société visible, organisée selon la logique du monde présent, donc soumise à une autorité et comportant un droit et une discipline. L'A. étudie ensuite ce qui relie la dimension historique de l'Église à sa nature eschatologique : les missions divines, celle, historique, du Verbe incarné, celle de l'Esprit Saint. Après avoir passé en revue ce qui selon lui manque à l'ecclésiologie de S. Thomas, l'A. étudie enfin la question, posée par A. Mitterer, d'une certaine dualité du concept thomiste d'Église. After having shown that if, in the works of St. Thomas, and specifically in the Summa Theologica, there was no treatise on the Church, that all the elements of a doctrine concerning the reality of the Church were to be found there, the article proposes to show how St. Thomas understood this. As 'congregatio fldelium', if draws together those whom the theological virtues establish in intimate communion with God and are thus in continuity with the celestial assembly of the elect. As being made of men 'in statu viae', the Church is a visible society, organised according to the logic of the present world, therefore under an authority and requiring a law and discipline. The article next studies that which links the historical dimension of the Church to its eschatological nature : the divine missions — that, historic, of the Incarnate Word; that of the Holy Spirit. After having reviewed that which, according to him, is lacking in the ecclesiology of St. Thomas, the article lastly studies the question, put by A. Mitterer, of a certain duality of the Thomistic concept of the Church. | ||
