Talcott Parsons' framework of pattern variables was used to analyze the data collected.Data were collected on four of Parsons' five pattern variables. The value-orientations that were found to exist in the neighborhood are affectivity, self-orientation, particularism and quality. These findings are compared to other types of configurations of value-orientations and an attempt is made to explain why the differences exist.
