520 |a The purpose of this research is to examine two types of affiliates to the National Federation of Priests' Councils and their relationship both to values and interests and social change. The major hypotheses are that the value-oriented association members will be more strongly associated with pastoral change than the interest-oriented senators and that the former will be more committed than the latter in employing a more militant approach. Longitudinal data over a three-year period are employed to support the hypotheses.
