Specifically, this study found that older people respond to sermons they hear more positively than do younger sermon hearers and that sermons have greater impact on women than on men. Different levels of education had no significant effect on response to sermons. These specific findings confirm some earlier findings, but contradict others. Possible explanations for these differences are discussed. In conclusion, comments about general methodology for researching response to sermons are given. | ||
