Constitué de mois lunaires qui commencent à la pleine lune, ce calendrier lunaire, comme le calendrier solaire et le calendrier des mišmarot, prive la lune, dans sa néoménie, de son pouvoir de détermination calendaire, un pouvoir rejeté par les qoumrâniens et par le livre des Jubilés. En ce sens, 4Q321 constitue un texte très élaboré qui réconcilie le soleil avec la lune. This paper gives a detailed analysis of the function of the two parts which make up 4Q321. An indepth examination of these two parts suggests interpreting these fragments as the elaboration of a reformed lunar calendar not founded on the new moon and which would be compatible with the solar calendar and with the priestly calendar of the mišmarot. This reformed lunar calendar would conform to the order of time inaugurated on the fourth day of Creation according to the book of Jubilees. Made up of lunar months beginning with the full moon this new lunar calendar, like the solar calendar and the calendar of the mišmarot, deprives the moon of its importance in calendrical determination, a power which was rejected by the Qumranites and the book of Jubilees. In this sense 4Q321 constitutes a very elaborate text which reconciles the sun with the moon.
