| Summary: | A material reconstruction of 4QpHosa+b shows that the two manuscripts represent two works, different in form. 4QpHosa cites and comments only selected passages of the book of Hosea. The two fragmentarily preserved columns represent the col. II and III of the scroll which originally contained about 21 columns. This pesher interprets Hos 2,8-14 in the light of the Hellenistic reformatory efforts in Jerusalem in the 2. century B.C. 4QpHosb, instead, cursory interprets the whole book of Hosea in about 23 columns, from which the presumed cols. X-XIV are fragmentarily preserved. In this pesher Alexander Jannai (103-76 B.C.) designated as "the lion of wrath" is mentioned. Une reconstruction matérielle de 4QpOsa+b montre que les deux manuscrits représentent deux œuvres différentes d'un point de vue formel. 4QpOsa cite et commente seulement des passages choisis du livre d'Osée. Les deux colonnes conservées de manière fragmentaire représentent les col. II et III du rouleau qui contenait env. 21 colonnes à l'origine. Ce péshèr interprète Os 2,8-14 à la lumière des efforts de réformes hellénistiques à Jérusalem au IIe siècle av. J.-C. 4QpOsb, par contre, interprète tout le livre d'Osée en env. 23 colonnes dont les présumées col. X-XIV sont conservées de manière fragmentaire. Dans ce péshèr il est fait mention d'Alexandre Jannai (103-76 av. J.-C.) désigné comme « Lionceau de Fureur ». |
