C’est ce que le présent article cherche à illustrer à travers une lecture narrative de l’épisode du massacre des prêtres de Nob en 1 S 21-22. On s’y intéresse en particulier à la tension narrative qui, ici, repose essentiellement sur le suspense, mais n’est pas sans curiosité ou surprise; de même, les modes de narration font l’objet d’une attention spéciale.\n4207 Many texts of the OT depict violent events. The majority employ a narrative technique, which plays on the emotions and feelings of the reader, thereby manipulating his judgment concerning the event. The purpose of this article is to illustrate this technique by offering a narrative analysis of the the episode of the massacre of the priests of Nob in 1 Sam 21-22. Particular attention will be paid to the narrative tension, which is fundamentally a matter of suspense but not without curiosity or surprise, and on the modes of the narration.\n4207 \n4207
