L'article publié ci-après tente de montrer 1° que son sens réel pourrait bien être fort différent de celui qu'on lui attribue habituellement, et 2° qu'on doit le considérer comme une glose marginale, œuvre d'un des premiers copistes, et très tôt introduite dans le texte. This verse of Luke 2:2 has given birth to a large number of publications, several of which were rather critical as regards the evangelist's historical information. The present study attempts to show, first, that the real meaning of the statement may be fairly different from what it is usually thought to be, and, secondly, that it must be considered just a marginal note, casually written down by some early copyist, then introduced into the text very soon. | ||
