Jér. 7 et 19; Is. 30,33). Au IIe siècle av. J.-C, les livres d'Hénoch et des Jubilés, après Ben Sira 50,26, s'en prennent aussi aux Samaritains, alors que le tofet est devenu l'Enfer eschatologique. Judaean hostility towards the Samaritans continues to grow after the return from exile. As well as Judg. 5,14 and 12,15, the final chapters of the Book of Isaiah contain coded references to the Samaritans, particularly Isa. 66,24, which calls to mind the tofet of Jerusalem (cf. Jer. 7 and 19; Isa. 30,33). In the 2nd cent. BC, the books of Enoch and Jubilees follow Sir. 50,26 in attacking the Samaritans, and at the same time the tofet becomes the eschatological Hell. | ||
