Clues which aid in a precise dating are conjectural. Le rédacteur de Zach 14 a visé délibérément à composer cet oracle eschatologique et à le lier à la tradition zacharienne, et certains oracles des chap. 1-13 ont été adaptés sous l'influence du chap. 14. Une fois identifiés les traits distinctifs du chapitre final, la présente discussion examine les données qui montrent l'uniformité du livre. Elle note en particulier les constantes thématiques, le vocabulaire similaire et les traits stylistiques que le chapitre de conclusion a en commun avec le reste du livre.
