Les perspectives qu'il développe sont fondées sur la relation, perceptible à plusieurs niveaux, entre « Sinaï » et « création » (histoires de la création et du déluge). L'auteur étudie successivement : 1) au moyen d'une analyse littéraire et théologique, les instructions pour la construction du tabernacle (Ex 26, 1-29*), qui, dans Pg, sont au centre de l'histoire du Sinaï, et, conjointement, les interprétations théologiques qui encadrent ces instructions (Ex 25, 9* et 26, 30, d'une part, Ex 25, 8 et 29, 45 + 46, d'autre part) ; 2) les connexions littéraires et théologiques des sections narratives qui entourent les instructions pour la construction du tabernacle (Ex 19, 1 + 24, 15b.16*.18aα et Ex 39, 43 + 40, 17.34) ; 3) la position et la fonction du récit de la construction du tabernacle au Sinaï dans le contexte global de l'histoire sacerdotale du Sinaï (Ex 16, 1-12* et Lév 9, 1-24*). Il apparaît que, pour Pg, le tabernacle n'est pas d'abord un lieu d'adoration cultuelle, mais bien plutôt le lieu et le signe de l'action de Yahvé au bénéfice d'Israël. Dans cette action divine s'achèvent également la « création » du peuple de Yahvé (Exode) et la création du monde. Perspectives in view of a comprehensive theological understanding of the Priestly Sinai story are developed on the basis of the connection between Mount Sinai and « creation » (i.e. creation story and flood story). This connection is tangible on several levels. Aided by a literary and theological analysis, a first series of observations begins with the building instructions in the center of the Sinai story of Pg, Ex 26: 1-29*, together with the theological interpretation framing these instructions, Ex 25: 9* and 26: 30 as well as Ex 25: 8 and 29: 45+ 46. A second series of observations studies the literary and theological interrelationship of the various parts of the narrative placed around the building instructions (both Ex 19: 1 + 24: 15b. l6*. 18aα and Ex 39: 43 + 40: 17.34).
