The spirit of the Gospel is one of universalism. So the church has to see the chances of a globalisation. It is the duty of the church to set a living example for unity by emphasizing a global solidarity and striving after a subsidiary structure consisting with many small elements. One of the chances of the church could be to use her planetary presence and her structure to enforce a dialogue between the participants of a multicentral worldsystem, with the goal of reaching a wide consensus in a universal civil society. |
