| Summary: | On the 75th birthday of Miscelánea Comillas, this article discusses three of its historical landmarks. Firstly, we remember its origins, in 1943, when the university celebrated its 50th anniversary. As part of the celebrations, the university published a book that included academic articles written by students and faculty. Two years later, this book evolved into a periodical publication offering multi-disciplinary contents. Secondly, the journal is described as a historical mirror of the different faculties connected to it. The last part of the paper analyzes the journal in its role of promoting faculty research, by publishing their articles and reviews, and advertising their scholarly publications. Con motivo de los 75 años de Miscelánea se presentan, en el presente artículo, tres aspectos históricos de la revista. En primer lugar, se recuerdan sus orígenes en 1943, cuando la universidad cumplía el cincuentenario de su fundación. Se quiso celebrar el acontecimiento con un libro que recogiera los artículos científicos de los alumnos y profesores. Dos años más tarde se pensó en una revista periódica, que desde sus orígenes tuvo el carácter interdisciplinar. En segundo lugar, se considera la revista como fiel reflejo histórico de las facultades vinculadas con ella. En tercer lugar, se expone que la revista ha mantenido, desde sus orígenes, el objetivo de la promoción de la investigación de sus profesores, publicando sus artículos y recensiones y haciendo propaganda de sus libros. |
