AB The current economic crisis in Spain has shown very clearly, more than ever, the apathy of the Spanish population in general and the youth in particular when confronting the responsible political and economic decision makers. In this context, however, many youth experts are drawing the attention to the fact that the involvement of youth policy, far from being diminished, is being transferred to forms of political action more informal and flexible. The data collected from the last report of the Spanish Youth Foundation SM 2010, however, sufficiently indicates not only that this transfer is not occurring but also that the political apathy of modern Spanish youth is deeply rooted in social disaffection.
AB La actual crisis económica ha puesto de manifiesto con gran claridad, más que nunca hasta el momento en España, la apatía de la población española en general y de los jóvenes en particular a la hora de enfrentarse a los poderespolíticos y económicos responsables. En este contexto, sin embargo, aún se levantan numerosas voces entre los expertos en juventud afirmando que la implicación política juvenil, lejos de verse mermada, se está traspasando a formas de acción política más informales y flexibles. Los datos arrojados por el último informe de la Fundación SM Jóvenes Españoles 2010, no obstante, indican consuficiente claridad no solo que este traspaso no se está produciendo sino que, además, esta apatía política del joven español actual hunde profundamente sus raíces en la desafección social.
