We progress in the methodological perspective from the lens of social work, publicizing the elements of social innovation. It explains the humanistic model of mediation and its essential practical implications. Restorative justice is conceived as a theoretical and practical paradigm. It understands the answer to crime with the requirement to address and repair the damage, to meet the needs of the people involved in the response to what happened. It’s also possible to invite in those processes to the members of the community. Restorative Justice emphasizes on attending the needs of offenders and victims, allowing the process of rebuilt broken relationships. The values of respect, responsibility and interpersonal relationship will be crucial in any restorative process. | ||
| 520 | |a Este artículo pretende realizar una reflexión sobre la mediación víctima ofensor dentro del paradigma de la justicia restaurativa. Se avanza en la perspectiva metodológica desde las lentes del trabajo social, dando a conocer los elementos presentes de innovación social. Se explica el modelo humanista de mediación y sus implicaciones prácticas esenciales. La justicia restaurativa se concibe como un paradigma teórico y práctico que entiende la respuesta a los delitos desde la obligación por atender y reparar el daño, por satisfacer las necesidades de laspersonas involucradas y por su participación —e incluso la de miembros de la comunidad— en dar respuesta a lo ocurrido. Pone énfasis en atender las necesidadesde personas infractoras y víctimas permitiendo que los vínculos y relaciones rotas por lo ocurrido puedan reconstruirse. Los valores de respeto, responsabilidad y relación interpersonal son ejes de cualquier proceso restaurativo. | ||
