According to Myszor, the roots of the developments which occurred after 1945 may be found in the Prussian government's church policies, which arose in Upper Silesia in the first two decades of the 20 th century. This conflict between Polish and German Catholics intensified amplified in the interwar years. This lack of trust between Polish and German Catholics, amongst other things, led back to the politics of Tolandisation' on one side and the emancipatory tendencies of the German minorities in political and church fields on the other. | ||
