This history spans from Francisco Torres’ Latin translation (dating to the beginning of the seventeenth century) to Jacques-Paul Migne’s famous edition of 1865. Attention is paid to the particularities of the editions made by Ioannes Meursius, François Combefis and Dositheus of Jerusalem. Although it is not always possible to identify the source manuscripts of the editions and translation in question, this study nevertheless reveals some useful insights with regard to the editors and their use of the available source material. | ||
