Of course such activities depend also from political and social situation. In the Austro-Hungarian Empire already in the last century such need was felt and so the beginnings of interest in the christian East led to some initiatives worth to be remembered, some of them were started at the University of Innsbruck. The article informes about these works and shows the links between the studies done until now in this field. The actual problems can be understood better in reference to that what has been analysed in the past. | ||
