À travers son expérience personnelle de 45 années d’arbitrage de football, l’auteur, prêtre diocésain et professeur de théologie, propose une exégèse de la figure de Dieu comme « arbitre des nations » selon Isaïe (2,1-5), qui valorise la fonction arbitrale en tant que servante de la réconciliation, à condition d’échapper à tout arbitraire. Sur le terrain comme dans l’existence, si le premier est comme le reflet de la seconde. | ||
