Die Konflikte betreffen nicht nur soziale Beziehungen, sondern zerreißen auch die Herzen einzelner Gläubiger. In diesem Artikel wird der theologische und spirituelle Weg eines einsamen katholischen Theologen nachgezeichnet. Ausgehend von triumphalistischen und infallibilistischen Annahmen führen vorkonziliare päpstliche Enzykliken zu dogmatischen Schwierigkeiten: Das Zweite Vatikanum hat die katholische Ekklesiologie und Soteriologie verändert. Es wachsen langsam Sympathien für einen extremen Traditionalismus, aber das Leben in einem ökumenischen Kontext und die Begegnung mit intelligenten antikatholischen Plädoyers für den Protestantismus stellen Probleme dar. Die Spannung zwischen der alten und der neuen Lehre des Lehramtes wird allmählich unerträglich, denn es scheint unmöglich, dem Dilemma 'verdamme oder werde verdammt/exkommuniziere oder werde exkommuniziert' zu entkommen. Muss ich fast alle anderen verdammen? Bin ich ein Häretiker? Eine Reihe von Ereignissen in Polen führt zu einem geistlichen Durchbruch, einer Erfahrung, die sowohl Luther als auch das Zweite Vatikanum verständlich macht. Das Pendel schwingt nun zu einer Küng‘schen Ablehnung der lehramtlichen Unfehlbarkeit, gefolgt von einer unbefriedigenden Suche nach versöhnlichen Lösungen. In der Krise erweisen sich enge Freunde und theologische Experten manchmal als hilfreich, aber die wichtigsten Elemente sind die Erfahrung der Liebe sowie die Fortsetzung eines Lebens mit den Sakramenten trotz der Zweifel. Der 'häretische Imperativ' zeigt, dass menschliche Urteile unausweichlich sind. Dennoch sollte das Lehramt viel mehr tun, um seine Beziehung zu seinen früheren Lehren zu erklären. Von den Gläubigen kann nicht erwartet werden, dass sie den Weg zu den wenigen Experten der lehramtlichen Hermeneutik finden. | ||

Les conflits ne sont pas seulement sociaux, ils traversent aussi le coeur des croyants. Cet article retrace le parcours théologique et spirituel d’un théologien catholique solitaire. À partir d’hypothèses triomphalistes et infaillibilistes, les encycliques papales préconciliaires ouvrent la voie à un problème dogmatique: Vatican II a changé l’ecclésiologie et la sotériologie catholiques. Les sympathies se tournent progressivement vers le traditionalisme extrême, mais des problèmes se posent lorsque l’on vit dans un contexte oecuménique et que l’on se heurte à un argumentaire anticatholique intelligent en faveur du protestantisme. La tension entre l’ancien et le nouvel enseignement du Magistère devient progressivement insupportable, car il semble impossible d’échapper au dilemme «anathématiser ou être anathématisé». Dois-je condamner quasiment tout le monde? Suis-je un hérétique? Une série d’événements en Pologne conduit à une percée spirituelle, à une expérience qui donne un aperçu à la fois sur Luther et sur Vatican II. Le pendule oscille alors vers un rejet küngien de l’infaillibilité magistérielle, et il est suivi d’une recherche insatisfaite de solutions de réconciliation pendant la crise, des amis de confiance et des experts en théologie s’avèrent parfois utiles, mais les éléments les plus importants sont l’expérience de l’amour, ainsi que la poursuite de la vie sacramentelle malgré les doutes. L’«impératif hérétique» montre que les jugements humains sont inéluctables. Néanmoins, le Magistère devrait faire beaucoup plus pour expliquer sa relation avec ses enseignements passés. | 520 | |a The internet effectively spreads inner-church conflicts even to Catholic peripheries. Conflicts are not only social but also cut through individual believers’ hearts. In this article, the theological and spiritual journey of a lonely Catholic theologian is retraced. Starting from triumphalist and infallibilist assumptions, pre-conciliar papal encyclicals lead the way to dogmatic trouble: Vatican II has changed Catholic ecclesiology and soteriology. Sympathies gradually turn towards extreme Traditionalism, but problems are presented by living in an ecumenical context and encountering an intelligent anti-Catholic case for Protestantism. The tension between the old and new teachings of the Magisterium gradually becomes unbearable, as it seems impossible to escape the dilemma 'anathematize or be anathematized'. Do I have to condemn almost everyone else? Am I a heretic? A series of events in Poland leads to a spiritual breakthrough, an experience that gives an insight into both Luther and Vatican II. The pendulum now swings to a Küngian rejection of magisterial infallibility, followed by an unsatisfied search for reconciling solutions. During the crisis, trusted friends and theological experts sometimes prove helpful, but the most important elements are the experience of love, as well as continuing the sacramental life despite doubts. The 'heretical imperative' shows that human judgments are inescapable. Still, the Magisterium should do much more to explain its relationship to its past teachings. The faithful cannot be expected to find their way to the few experts on magisterial hermeneutics | ||
