Socially engaged Protestant groups utilized neighborhood networks of casas cultos (house churches) and casas de oración (prayer houses) in order to address the concrete spiritual and material needs of fellow Cubans. This article argues that Protestants are combining Christianity with support for the revolutionary values of social solidarity and providing for the common good. | ||
