Forbønn kan bli forstått ut ifrå kjærleiksrelasjonar og avhengigheit, og bli beskrive som sjølv-givande fellesskap, rop og minning, teneste og tillit til Guds transformative kraft. | ||
| 520 | |a Intercessions in worship - praying for someone else - is a practice of the Church, both desired and lived, even more so in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in the face of secular reason in late modernity, traditional theologies of intercession as God’s intervention in the world are no longer sustainable. Instead, a fruitful approach may be found in an understanding of God’s distance and absolute difference in relation to creation, as well as Christological and trinitarian considerations of relationality as the foundations for transformation and radical hope. Intercessions may be understood from relationalities of love and dependence and may be described as self-giving communion, crying out and memory, service, and trusting in God’s transformative power. | ||
