It designate the ambiguous character of all existing realities, where there are the creative and destructive elements mixed in a simultaneous and confused way. I inquire, in this article, about the root of this concept. I investigate about the philosophical thought of J. Boehme and F.W. Schelling. Both philosophers explain the idea of the existence of two principles, one negative, destructive, symbolized by the image of the fire; and other positive, creative, symbolized by the light. Both are in god, in a dialectic creative relation, in which the positive one always overcomes. But in existence, both principles become relatively independent each other, loosing the divine harmony, bringing the evil and the ambiguity to the world. This philosophical reflexions contribute with the basics elements for the idea of the demonic , but I conclude that the fundamental root of the concept of the demonic in the thougt of Tillich comes from his protestant root: the Lutheran conscience of the world corruption caused by the human sin. | ||

Designa el carácter ambiguo de las realidades existentes, donde se encuentran los elementos creativo y destructivo mezclados en forma simultánea y confusa. Indago, en este artículo, sobre la raíz de tal concepto. Profundizo en las reflexiones filosóficas de J. Boehme y F.W. Schelling. Ambos autores desarrollan la idea de la existencia de dos principios, un principio negativo, destructivo, simbolizado por la imagen del fuego; y un principio positivo, creativo, simbolizado por la luz. Ambos se encuentran en dios mismo, en una relación dialéctica creativa, en que siempre triunfa el principio positivo. Pero en las cosas existentes estos dos principios se independizan relativamente, perdiendo tal armonía divina, causando el mal y la ambigüedad en nuestro mundo. Estas reflexiones filosóficas aportan a Tillich los elementos básicos para su concepto de lo demoníaco, pero concluyo que la raíz más fundamental del concepto de lo demoníaco, tal como lo utiliza Tillich, proviene de su propia raíz protestante: la conciencia luterana de la corrupción del mundo causada por el pecado. | ||
