AB This study is a reflection upon the places in which it may be possible to fulfill the call to all members of the Church by the Second Vatican Council to habitual encounter with the Word of God. This encounter will happen in study, in listening, and in the meditation of Scripture as attentive to the «signs of the times» proposed by the Council: the desire of unity among Christians, the experience of religious pluralism, the need for growing solidarity among people. This invitation made by the Council still stands today, as the Word of God will be all the more effective in an encounter with attentive listeners in the space of revelation.
AB En este estudio se reflexiona sobre los lugares donde realizar la renovada invitación del Concilio Vaticano II a todos los miembros de la Iglesia para encontrarse asiduamente con la Palabra de Dios. Este encuentro se dará tanto en el estudio, la escucha y la meditación de la Escritura como en la atención a los «signos de los tiempos» ofrecidos por el mismo Concilio: el anhelo de unidad de los cristianos; la experiencia del pluralismo religioso; y el hecho o necesidad de solidaridad creciente entre los pueblos. La invitación del Concilio sigue hoy vigente, pues la Palabra de Dios serán tanto más eficaz cuanto halla sujetos que la escuchen allí donde se nos revela.
