| Summary: | This article presents a personal reading of Gaudium et Spes (GS) forty years after its proclamation. Two perspectives are offered in this reading: first, a theological-dogmatic perspective; and, secondly, a special focus on the Trinitarian mystery,confessed by Christians as the light which is able to illuminate the deepest level of the mystery of existence. The article is divided in three parts: in the first part a justification for this change of perspective is offered; the commitment to atheism is briefly analyzed in the second part. And, finally, this question is studied from the perspective of Trinitarian Theology, especially from Hans Urs von Balthasar’s theology. Este trabajo es una lectura personal de la Constitución pastoral Gaudium et Spes (GS) a los cuarenta años de su promulgación en el Concilio Vaticano II. Ella está realizada poniendo de relieve dos perspectivas: en primer lugar, una lectura teológico-dogmática de la Constitución; y, como consecuencia de ésta, una atención especial a la comprensión del misterio de Dios que confiesa la fe cristiana (trinitario), como luz que ilumina en su dimensión más profunda el misterio del hombre y del mundo. El artículo está dividido en tres partes. En la primera justifico la necesidad de este cambio de perspectiva a la hora de leer una Constitución pastoral. En la segunda parte analizo brevemente los números dedicados al fenómeno del ateísmo. En tercer lugar afronto esta cuestión desde la perspectiva de la teología trinitaria, especialmente desde la aportación realizada por Hans Urs von Balthasar. |
