Bearing witness to the daily life of the Dominican nuns who inhabited it, the document’s interest resides not only in the context in which it was found, but also in the triviality of its contents, testifying to the Dominican cult's continued practices, such as the recurrent handling of clothed images and the zealous adornment of the altars. These are the aspects we propose to address, hoping to contribute to a better understanding of the devotional experience of the Dominican women of Aveiro. | ||
