Au début du Tr. Ps. 138, 24, Hilaire de Poitiers évoque un changement de la nature de l'homme lors de la résurrection. Le passage pose des problèmes textuels négligés par l'édition la plus récente. En quelle substance sera changée la nature de l'homme après la résurrection selon Hilaire? Les manuscrits présentent des leçons divergentes: une nature éternelle (aeterna), en bronze (aeream), aérienne (aeriam) ou éthérée (aetheream).
