Drawing extensively on archival research, the Ustaša press, and interviews with important female members of the movement as well as female victims of the regime, Bitunjac focuses specifically on the role of women in the NDH and on the Ustaša movement’s ambitious and wide-ranging plans to regulate every aspect of women’s daily lives. | ||
