Così il lavoro dell’intuizione è indissociabile dal conoscere e dal conoscersi. Solo il credente può distinguere il sacramentum, ma non può venire all’esperienza al di fuori di un evento di parola. L’esperienza sacramentale è esperienza di essere nel mondo come "mondo della fede". Esige una iniziazione. L’intuizione sacramentale spicca rispetto all’esperienza religiosa, perché modella un desiderio - il desiderio naturale dell’homo capax Dei - e la sua soddisfazione in una modalità pre-escatologica. The passivity in which things are allowed to appear is not a simple impression: letting appear cannot be dissociated from making appear. Thus the work of intuition is inseparable from knowing and knowing each other. Only the believer can distinguish the sacramentum, but he cannot come to the experience outside of an event of speech. The sacramental experience is the experience of being in the world as a "world of faith". It requires initiation.
