In 1959, the predominately urban and middle class constituency of the UPCUSA in Cuba found itself living under a revolutionary government. The UPCUSA adopted a dual strategy of helping those Presbyterians who wished to leave Cuba and supporting the Presbyterians who remained in Cuba as they organized a national Cuban church. | ||
