Summary: | From October 25–28, 1990, representatives of four doctoral programs and five master's programs that provide graduate training from a Christian perspective in various aspects of professional psychology met in Lisle, Illinois, for the Rech Conference on Christian Graduate Training in Psychology. The purpose of the conference was to initiate a sustained dialogue among comparable programs regarding the distinctive features of our programs and the challenges that we face. Resource scholars and several special participants were in attendance to challenge the program representatives. This article attempts to summarize the proceedings of the Rech Conference and to briefly introduce the seven resource papers that were presented to the participants of the Rech conference and that comprise the balance of this special issue of the Journal of Psychology and Theology. |
